Artwork Requirements

Artwork must be submitted as editable Adobe files at 10% or 100% scale, with 100 ppi images, outlined fonts, linked assets, and proper bleed. Review AI-generated images carefully for quality, accuracy, and print readiness.

Adobe PDFs - editable versions only (native Adobe files always preferred over PDF), JPG, TIF, PNG, and EPS file types.

Raster Images

Skyline recommends images be supplied at 100 ppi at full print size for optimal print quality. AI upscaling may improve image detail but should be carefully proofed before use. When placing images in Illustrator or InDesign, always link raster files and include all linked assets with your final packaged artwork for production.

Fonts & Colors

Outline or provide all fonts before submission to prevent text issues. Both RGB and CMYK art is accepted. It is not required, but we
recommend creating your art in the AdobeRGB 1998 color space, and specifying critical colors using Pantone Coated or Uncoated
references. For the richest black, use RGB 0/0/0 or CMYK 100/100/100/100 for all vector and raster artwork.

Bleed Requirements

Bleed is product dependent. For bleed requirements please refer to your Skyline Grid or the Art Templates provided to you for your project.

Packaging Final Art

When using Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign please use the “Package” function under the File menu before submitting art. Note that not all fonts can be packaged due to copyright limitations. Copyright protected fonts will need to be outlined before packaging the files.

AI-Generated Image Notice

AI-generated images may not meet print-quality requirements and can contain distorted details, unreadable text, or other inaccuracies. Copyright and ownership rules vary by jurisdiction. Review all artwork carefully before use; Skyline cannot guarantee print quality, originality, or legal clearance.

What size should artwork be?

Create artwork at either 10% or 100% of final print size. If designing at a smaller scale, adjust image resolution to maintain print quality.

How do I upload artwork?

Zip all files before uploading, name the ZIP with your company name, upload through Skyline's file portal, and notify your Skyline contact after submission.
